Freedom of belief and conscience of all people should be protected
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said he will take action to support “religious freedom”. We need freedom of belief and conscience for all, not just the religious. To protect the rights of only one group, the religious, is to risk diminishing the rights of others; the non religious. For more see CAHS submission to the Government’s review into religious freedom here
Time running out on Government funding of religious chaplains in schools
The Australian Government's program to fund religious chaplains in schools is blatantly discriminatory; funding religious chaplains but offering no funding to the non religious. Funding for this program is due to be renewed soon. Its time to act to stop this program now. To sign a petition calling on the government to end this discriminatory program click here
